At 42, he thought it was time to meet an exceptional woman to start his life with. A few months into his membership he met her. It was a casual meeting for drinks at Palamino. His initial impression of her was that she was outgoing, energetic, funny, outdoorsy, athletic and cute! They soon spent their nights and weekends together biking, rollerblading, dinning out and taking hiking trips to Montana and Arizona. During a vacation to Tucson he proposed and shortly thereafter the two celebrated their marriage vows with friends and family in an intimate ceremony. They are expecting their first child, purchasing a new home and are very much in love!

Prior to joining IJL, Kirsten was a single attorney with a fear of never meeting someone special again. On her third date through IJL, she was pleased to meet Michael, a genuine man who wasn’t scared by the fact that she was an attorney. He already knew everyone in his small community. They met for an after-work drink and after a few hours shut down the restaurant. Michael was thrilled to have met someone who was pretty, intelligent and funny. They went to dinner, sporting events, the movies, the zoo and spent time together with friends and family. After about one month of dating, Michael knew Kirsten was the one and proposed a few months later on a trip to Hawaii. After almost two years of marriage they are still making each other laugh a lot and loving the time they share together. Kirsten and Michael are secure with the knowledge that not only are they going to be growing old together but they will simply be old together too!

A Single mom at 36, was given an IJL membership as a birthday gift from her sister in hopes she would meet a nice man who was ready for a relationship. A divorced dad at 42 was referred to IJL through a friend. They met at Ciao Bella for drinks after work and talked about their love of running, traveling and dinning. He valued her ability to be career-minded and independent yet a very devoted mother. She knew there was sweetness about him that was very unique, when he proposed on her birthday at a romantic restaurant, she gladly said yes. After a marriage ceremony and honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple built a new home together and continue to enjoy their weekly date nights on Fridays.

The inability to find suitable male companionship and the strong desire to meet quality women made these two IJL clients a perfect match. They met for lunch at Kincaids, exchanged phone numbers and both indicated their mutual interest in getting together again. She was fascinated with his wide variety of common interests and his wonderfully warm personality. He found her attractive, intelligent and was captivated by her travel history. They spent six months dating and enjoying the theatre, spending time outdoors, and going to religious retreats together. The couple is planning a winter wedding complete with a horse drawn carriage ride through Loring Park.
